WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT US
This cluster of charming historic cabins, along a stream right in the middle of town, was recently bought by Ryan Giuliani, and his wife, Mary Giuliani, caterer to the stars. They have done a lovely, painstaking renovation, and the location couldn’t be better.
Situated on the Tannery Brook, Cabin 21 has the makings for the ultimate weekend getaway: cozy, queen-size beds; a rustic, wood-dominated interior; and sleek, bohemian touches that remind you over and over again that you’re spending the weekend in Woodstock. Situate yourself in the reading nook, or get lost in The Center For Photography for the afternoon.
The Catskills are being reshaped by a new generation of fresh-air-seeking urbanites. On summer weekends the tiny hamlet of Phoenicia resembles Williamsburg North, with pilgrims drawn by the Graham & Co., a 20-room hotel started by four Brooklynites, and the local favorite,Phoenicia Diner. And with Vogue-approved spots like the Italian restaurant Cucina and short-stay cabins Woodstock Way, Woodstock has moved beyond its tie-dyed hippie image.
A tranquil and relaxing weekend in the most beautiful setting!!
Our weekend at Woodstock Way was wonderful. My boyfriend and I, along with our dog Siris really enjoyed our time at the cabin. We were able to take our morning walk for our coffee and then spent our afternoon walking around town, in and out of the quaint shops. Being able to bring the dog with us was such a wonderful thing; he truly loved being outdoors as much as we did. We spent one night cooking and eating on the back deck alongside the waterfall. We lit candles and truly embraced the peaceful and beautiful surroundings. It really was a wonderful time, being away from the hustle and bustle of the city and simply taking in the beauty of Waterfall Way. The cabin itself was immaculate and had everything that we needed. It was very comfortable and felt like home.. Thank you Cindy for giving us the opportunity to take home such wonderful memories and some of the most beautiful photos!!
COZY COUNTRY ROMANTIC GETAWAY
What a wonderful way to celebrate our third wedding anniversary. Booking was easy. Cindy was quick to respond to my e-mail and very friendly and sweet. The cottage was as described. Cottage is tucked away in a wooded private area, but very close to town. Very quiet and relaxing at night even though you're minutes from shops. The cottage itsself was cozy, romantic, fun, rustic and just what we needed. We will be looking forward to coming back to Woodstock Way and renting a cabin again. Thank again Cindy for everything!!
What a Gem!
My wife and two children, ages 5 and 2, came here last week. Being that it is a new property and had no reviews at the time, we took a bit of a chance. Sometimes it just works out and this time it did! The pictures on the site did not do this cabin justice! Not only was the cabin as promised in the pictures, it was even more so! Pictures cannot describe the sound of the waterfall that you constantly hear or the calm sound of the stream passing by on the back deck. I couldn't wait to sit out each morning with my cup of coffee and watch and listen to the waterfall. The cabin itself was immaculate, with all amenities included. There was literally nothing that we needed to go out and get. The grill was ready with coals and lighter fluid; it had a toaster and microwave as well as a stove. Plenty of towels etc... Even a clothes line on the second deck to hang our clothes after swimming by the waterfall. One thing to note: it is slippery on the rocks by the waterfall so be careful getting in. If having this perfect cabin wasn't enough, it is about 150-200 yards away from the center of town! No need for a car at any time unless you are doing something in a neighboring town like we did. We took the kids for a train ride in Phoenicia, which they loved, as well as to visit the beautiful Buddhist Temple on top of the mountain. I also want to thank Cindy ( one of the owners ) for emailing me her suggestions on what to do and where to eat, as well as her texts during my stay to make sure we arrived safely and were having a good time. Lastly, we have taken our kids to quite a few places over the last 2-3 years but this was the first time that our daughter started to cry as we drove away. She made us promise to come back soon.... and we will.
My boyfriend and I stayed at this wonderful, modern yet charming home recently and cannot wait to go back there. The Woodstock Way Cabin was recently renovated and is absolutely immaculate - yet still retains the character and charm that one would expect from a romantic country getaway in Woodstock. The love and attention to detail that has gone into the home is evident - with complimentary toiletries, recommended books and a curated movie selection for you to enjoy — everything you could possibly ask for has been considered.
Highlights include: 2 porches, a woodburning fireplace, a charcoal grill and your own personal waterfall/swimming hole. AND you really are STEPS from Woodstock's main stretch (definitely no car needed and you if you want to get around, you can rent bikes!) If I had to sum it up in two words - I would say “charming" and “magical." We will definitely stay there again.
